William (Bill) Garner, MD is a physician, investor, inventor and entrepreneur.
Through EGB Ventures, Garner has founded and financed numerous companies listed on the ASX, CSE, TSX and NASDAQ.
Previously, Garner worked in medical affairs at Hoffmann LaRoche (Roche) in oncology. Prior to Roche, Dr. Garner was a merchant banker in New York City.
Garner earned a Master of Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and an MD at New York Medical College. Garner trained in the Anatomic Pathology residency program at Columbia-Presbyterian, was a pre-doctoral fellow at the Mass General Cancer Center, and is currently a licensed physician in the State of New York.
Among awards and honors, Garner was an AMA/Glaxo Wellcome Leadership Award recipient. Some of Garner’s research was funded by the American Federation for Aging Research. He is an inventor on a wide range of patents.
